Training on Research Methodology held at PUST

PABNA, Nov 25: A training workshop was held on Tuesday at the initiative of the HIT-Sub Project of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST).

The guests were the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, and Treasurer, Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Ahsan. Other guests were the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Professor Dr. Md. Hasibur Rahman, and the Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, Professor Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman.

Dr. Md. Masud Rana, Associate Professor of the Department of Business Administration, presided over the meeting. Under his leadership, Pabna University received the HIT project for the first time. The resource persons in the training workshop were Pro-VC Professor Nazrul Islam and Professor Dr. Mohammad Saleh Zahur, Department of Finance, Chittagong University.
Pro-VC Professor Nazrul Islam said, "We have to create a good environment and move forward. An institution can move forward through research. A research cell has been formed to encourage research in the university. Students will also get the opportunity to work on it. You have to be able to do it, and the university will move forward through you. It can be difficult to conduct high-quality research with university funds alone. In that case, we will need external cooperation.'

Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Ahsan said, "We have to move forward according to plan to conduct research. We have to work with stakeholders at scale to conduct surveys. We have to be more focused on research."

All the teachers, students, and staff of the Department of Business Administration and Tourism and Hospitality Management were present at the event.
