Jubo Dal leader held with cocktails in Jashore

JASHORE, Nov 25: Police arrested a local Jubo Dal leader along with cocktails and locally-made arms from the Jashore town early Tuesday.

The arrested is Masud Al Rana, a resident of Chanchra Raypara area in the town. Rana is Ward-6 Jubo Dal's general secretary.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid in Rana's residence at around 6 am and arrested him.
After initial interrogation, police recovered seven pieces of cocktails, three petrol bomb-like objects, a knife and two machetes from the backyard near his kitchen.

Sub-Inspector of Kotwali Police Station Anisur Rahman Khan confirmed the incident.
