Clash at Bakshibazar Alia madrasa

Two factions of students have locked into clash at the Govt. Madrasah-e-Alia in old Dhaka's Bakshibazar, leaving several injured.

The clash erupted at 10PM on Saturday. Later, the situation returned to normal around 2:30AM with the presence of police and Army personnel, said Chawkbazar Police Station SI Ashraful Islam.

''Two factions of students were engaged in chases and counter-chases. The situation returned to normal when police and Army personnel went there.''

However, the police official could not confirm the cause of the clash.
