The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Paschimanchal Gas Company Limited (PGCL), one of the subsidiaries of Petrobangla, was held on Sunday (November 16) at Petrobangla Center in Karwan Bazar in the capital.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Abdul Mannan, Additional Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources ministry and Chairman of PGCL Board of Directors. Petrobangla Chairman and shareholder Rezanur Rahman, along with other shareholders and members of the Board of Directors, attended the meeting.
"The meeting approved the company's audited financial report and accounts for fiscal 2024-2025. It was informed that during the same period, PGCL sold a total of 1,414.529 MMCM of gas across various sectors, earning Tk 246 crore before tax, a 32.28 per cent increase over the previous fiscal year."
The company deposited Tk 172.55 crore into the state treasury during the fiscal year, about 28.44% higher than the previous year. Given the positive overall performance, the Managing Director expressed sincere thanks to shareholders, management, officers, and employees.
He also sought cooperation of everyone concerned in achieving progress and development of Paschimanchal Gas Company Limited in future.
