Smuggled Indian goods seized in Satkhira

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB-33) recovered huge amounts of smuggled Indian goods from different border areas of Sadar and Kolaroa upazilas in Satkhira district.

Acting on a tip-off, several teams of BGB raided Lakhidaru, Karlvert and Kaliani areas of Sadar upazila and recovered huge quantities of smuggled Indian medicines.

Besides, separate teams of BGB raided Gerakhali and Bhadiali in Kolaroa upazila and recovered smuggled Indian liquor and cosmetics.
Satkhira BGB-33 Battalion Commander Lt Col Md Ashraful Haque confirmed the incident.
