Police introduce new uniform

Bangladesh Police started duties in new uniforms from Saturday. But the uniforms are being distributed to a limited number to the personnel.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police spokesperson Talebur Rahman said the uniform rollout began on Saturday and will be distributed to all members in phases.

Range and metropolitan police members will wear an iron-grey uniform, replacing the previous one of blue and green.

Mohammadpur Police Station OC Kazi Rafique Ahmed said, ''We haven’t received the uniform yet, but hope to get it soon.''
