Dengue claimed three more lives in the 24 hours between Wednesday 8 AM and Thursday 8 AM, while 833 new patients were admitted to hospitals across the country, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS report stated that among the newly hospitalized patients, 113 were admitted in Barishal division, 119 in Chattogram division, 158 in Dhaka division (outside the city corporations), 167 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 116 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 65 in Rajshahi division (outside the city corporation), 77 in Mymensingh division (outside the city corporation), 12 in Rangpur division (outside the city corporation) and 6 in Sylhet division (outside the city corporation).
During the same period, 859 dengue patients across the country were discharged from hospitals.
With this, a total of 78,848 patients have recovered and been released so far this year.
Since January, 82,606 dengue patients have been hospitalized nationwide and the death toll has now risen to 326.
