Miscreants set fire to a bus near Uposhohor Park on the Jashore-Magura road in Jashore district town on Thursday.

Miscreants set fire to the ‘Rahin Special’ bus parked near Uposhohor Park area early in the morning and fled.

However, residents of a local slum rushed in and managed to douse the blaze within 20 minutes.

Kazi Babul Islam, inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said police are trying to identify the miscreants.
