The Saudi government has announced that people suffering from chronic diseases will not be allowed to perform Hajj.
Bangladesh's Ministry of Religious Affairs on Monday said it had received a letter from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah regarding the matter.

The Saudi ministry has asked all countries sending pilgrims to conduct full health check-ups for every pilgrim. Each pilgrim must provide a medical certificate confirming they are fit and free from health risks to perform Hajj.
Those with major organ failures, including patients undergoing kidney dialysis, those with serious heart or lung diseases requiring constant oxygen support, and people with severe liver cirrhosis, will not be allowed.
