Man’s body found in Ctg

Police recovered a man’s body at Hathazari upazila in Chattogram district on Monday.

The body was found near a fish project site around 10:30 AM at Dakshin Alampur Jun Nurain Madrasa in the upazila.

The identity of the youth is yet to be found, said Hathazari Model Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Monzur Kader Bhuiya.

According to police, locals spotted a body in the area and informed the government emergency number by calling 999.

Being informed, police rushed to the scene, recovered the body, prepared an initial investigation report and sent it to Chattogram Medical College Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.

The OC said that efforts are underway to identify the body.
