Youth electrocuted in Kishoreganj

A youth was electrocuted at Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj district on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Ekhlas Uddin, 22, son of Md Jalal Uddin of Boro Ajlady Nayapara village in the upazila.

According to locals, Ekhlas was seriously injured when he suddenly came in contact with an electric wire while working at his chicken farm at around 12:30 PM.

Later, locals rescued him and took him to Pakundia Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Pakundia Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md Mobarak Hossain confirmed the incident.
