2 Victor Paribahan buses set on fire in Dhaka

Miscreants set on fire to two buses in Dhaka's Merul Badda and Shahjadpur areas early Monday.

Getting information at an early hours, Fire Service personnel went to the spots and doused the blaze.

According to duty officer Rashed Bin Khaled, the incidents were reported around 5:40AM that two buses belonging to Victor Paribahan were torched at Merul Badda and Shahjadpur. Later two units rushed there and brought the fire under their control.

''However, we do not know how the fire originated, no casualties have been reported.''

Police have also visited both locations to determine whether the fires were accidental or acts of sabotage.
