HSC test exams postponed

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has directed all colleges not to hold Higher Secondary (HSC) test examinations until further instructions are issued regarding 2026 HSC examination.

The directive was issued on Sunday in a circular signed by Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haydar, Controller of Examinations of Dhaka Education Board.

The revised schedule for test exams will be announced later through an official notice, read the notice.
In the meantime, institutions have been instructed to continue regular classes for twelfth-grade students.

According to the notice, classes for students intending to appear in 2026 HSC examinations will continue as usual.

“Colleges are requested not to hold the test examinations until further instructions are provided,” the circular stated.

It further mentioned that the date for postponed test exams will be announced later through a separate notice.
