2 held with Yaba pills in Savar

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two suspected drug peddlers along with Yaba pills from Ashulia police station area in Savar on Saturday evening.

The arrested are Abu Hanif, 40 of Kumkumari village under Ashulia Police Station and Md Sagor, 28 of Chandupur village under Katiadi Police Station in Kishoreganj district.

According to DB, a team of officials conducted a drive in front of Charabag Gouripur Baitul Aman Jame Mosque in Ashulia and apprehended two individuals with 50 pieces of Yaba pills.
Dhaka District North DB Police officer-in-charge (OC) Md Jalal Uddin confirmed the incident and said that a case has been filed against the arrested individuals.
