Ex-junior minister Nurul Huda passes away

BNP chairperson's adviser and former state minister for establishment Nurul Huda died at a private hospital in the USA on Wednesday. He was 80.
Huda, also former MP from Matlab of (Chandpur-2), breathed his last at a hospital in New York around 2:30 pm Bangladesh time, his younger brother Khairul Huda told UNB.
He is survived by wife, two sons and a host of friends, relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Huda, who went to the USA to meet his son Tarvir Huda two weeks back, fell seriously ill on Wednesday and was subsequently taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at his demise.
In a condolence message, she recalled Huda's contributions to BNP and the country's democratic movements. "He was near and dear one to the people of his area as he did politics with an aim to do public
