Remittances hit $350m in first 3 days of Nov

Overseas Bangladeshis sent $350 million in remittances to the country during first three days of November, according to latest data from Bangladesh Bank released on Tuesday.

The central bank’s updated figures show that remittance inflows during this period rose by 48.9% compared to the same time last year, when expatriates sent $221 million.

From July 1 to November 3 of the current fiscal year (2025–26), expatriates have sent a total of $10.48 billion in remittances; up from $9.16 billion received during the same period last fiscal year.

In the first four months of the current fiscal year (July–October), total remittance inflows stood at $10.14 billion, an increase of about $1.24 billion from $8.9 billion in the same period last year.
