Marvel Studios has announced two major global release dates for 2026 that fans around the world are eagerly anticipating: July 31 and December 18.

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' will swing into cinemas on July 31, 2026, with Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker.

The production is already underway in the UK, including at Pinewood Studios.

Early reports suggest the film may focus on Spider-Man’s “street-level” adventures rather than large-scale multiverse conflicts.

Interestingly, the movie may skip an IMAX release, an unusual choice for a Marvel title.

Later in the year, 'Avengers: Doomsday' is scheduled for December 18, 2026.

The Christmas blockbuster will bring together a wide array of Marvel heroes, including characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises.

In a major Marvel surprise, Robert Downey Jr., the actor who made Iron Man iconic, is returning to the franchise to portray the villainous Doctor Doom, in the next instalment of the Avengers series.

The film’s release was pushed from an earlier spring date, highlighting the project’s scale and ambition.

With Spider-Man returning to cinemas in July and Avengers delivering a massive crossover in December, 2026 promises to be a landmark year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe — and Marvel fans worldwide are sure to mark their calendars for both events.
