Deadline set for voter relocation ahead of polls

Election Commission (EC) has announced that it will not accept any applications for relocation of voting addresses after November 10, in preparation for the 13th parliamentary election scheduled for early February 2026.

The deadline applies to all voters seeking to transfer their voting location due to changes in residence, as stated in a circular released by the EC on Tuesday.

Registration officers are required to approve or reject all applications by November 17.

Election Commission is expected to release the official schedule for the upcoming general election in early December 2025.
