Training workshop for enhancing police skills, capacity inaugurated in Khulna

A training workshop aimed at enhancing police skills and capacity to ensure smooth and fair electoral duties was held at Boyra Police Lines in Khulna on Tuesday.

The session was inaugurated by Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Md Zulfikar Ali Haider, who also delivered the welcome speech.

In his speech, the chief guest emphasised that professionalism, integrity and competence at all levels of the police force are crucial to conduct the upcoming national parliamentary election freely, fairly and impartially.

He urged all personnel to perform their election duties responsibly, with impartiality and respect for the law.

He further stated that the training would provide officers with practical experience and improve their capabilities in handling election-related responsibilities, ensuring law and order and effective duty at polling stations during the election period.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters) and newly promoted Additional DIG M M Shakiluzzaman, Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (Sadar) Shamima Akter Sumi, PPM (Service), along with other trainees, attended this event.
