Man killed in Chandpur road crash

A motorcycle rider was killed and another injured in a road accident at Madanergaon village under Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Junaid Badsha Talukder, 45, son of Maulana Idris Talukder of Manikraj village in the upazila.

According to locals, the incident occurred at around 10:30 AM when a speedy motorcycle hit Junaid’s motorbike from the opposite direction, leaving Junaid dead on the spot and another bike rider injured.
Later, locals rescued the injured and sent him to Faridganj Upazila Health Complex for treatment.

Faridganj Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Abu Taher confirmed the incident.
