Clashes erupt between 2 villagers' in Habiganj

A violent clash broke out between residents of two villages at Bahubal upazila of Habiganj district on Tuesday.

The incident began at around 7:00 PM, following a dispute between two young men from Bariuri and Bahubal villages over a personal dispute involving a woman.

The dispute got bigger, leading villagers from both sides to engage in a vileont clash, using locally made arms.

During the clash, Bahubal Bazar turned into a battlefield. Several business establishments were vandalised.

Confirming the incident, Bahubal Model Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Aminul Islam said that force have been deployed to the area and efforts are going to control the situation.
