Four more die as dengue fatalities cross 250 in '25

Four more deaths were reported from dengue in 24 hours till Tuesday morning, raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 251 this year.

During the period, 814 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total infected-case to 56,257 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
It said that of the deceased one were male while three other female. Among them, three form Dhaka South Coty Corporation while one from Barishal division.

Meanwhile, 819 dengue patients across the country were discharged from hospitals in a single day, bringing the total number of people discharged this year to 58,521.
