Clash before July Charter signing: 900 sued for vandalism, arson attack

Four cases have been filed over violent clashes in the capital's Manik Mia Avenue between police and demonstrators centering signing ceremony of July National Charter.

Around 800 to 900 unknown individuals have been made accused in the cases filed with Sher-e-Bangla Police Station.

One person was arrested so far, the police station OC Imaul Haque confirmed.

Of the four, one was filed by a traffic police and the rest three cases are by the police station police for attack on police members, vehicle vandalism and arson attack on police control room, the OC added.
