Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has called on all television and online media platforms to broadcast the signing ceremony of the July National Charter live, set to take place on Friday.
In a statement, Professor Yunus appealed to the media to ensure nationwide coverage of the landmark event, emphasizing its national significance.
“We urge all TV and online media to broadcast the July National Charter signing ceremony live,” he said. “To every Bangladeshi; wherever you may be, at home or on the move, in your shops, factories, fields or playgrounds, tune in and witness this historic moment!”
Highlighting the unity behind the Charter, the Chief Adviser added, “Despite our political, religious or ethnic differences, we stand together as ONE UNITED NATION.”
He described the event as a celebration of national unity, saying, “This is our time to come together; to feel the strength of our unity and draw inspiration from this historic day of pride and hope.”
The signing ceremony will be held at South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 4 PM on Friday (October 17).
