Massive fire at CEPZ garment factory, 16 units trying to douse blaze

A massive fire broke out at a garment factory in Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) on Thursday afternoon.

It was learnt that more than 500 workers works in that factory.

The blaze originated around 2PM at Al Hamid Textile. A total 16 units are working to extinguish the blaze.

The reason behind the fire could not be known yet.
