JnUCSU election policy finalised, awaits President's nod

The revised policy for the (JnUCSU) election has been finalised by the Ministry of Education and is now awaiting the President's approval to become law. The confirmation came on Monday following a ministry meeting.

Prof Dr Mohammad Bilal Hossain, convener of the JnUCSU Policy Committee, told reporters, "All proposed amendments to the JnUCSU policy have been completed and finalized today. The only remaining step is the President's approval. Once that is granted, the law will officially come into effect, no further process will be needed."

He added, "There is no scope for retreating from this stage. While it's difficult to predict exactly how long the approval process will take, we are optimistic that the JnUCSU election will be held on schedule. All necessary preparatory work prior to the announcement of the election schedule can now proceed."
