CA thanks Erdogan for Shahidul Alam’s release, repatriation

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has expressed his gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his support in facilitating the release and safe repatriation of renowned Bangladeshi photographer and human rights activist Shahidul Alam from Israel.

According to information from Turkish sources, Shahidul Alam departed Israel for Turkiye on Friday aboard a flight arranged with Turkish cooperation.

A statement from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing confirmed, “A flight carrying Shahidul Alam left Israel this afternoon. The renowned Bangladeshi photographer and human rights activist is among the passengers.”
The flight, TK 6921, is scheduled to arrive in Istanbul around 2:30 PM local time on Friday.
