SINGRA, NATORE, Oct 9: A day-long Science Fair 2025 and the second BLSC Science Olympiad competition were held at BIAM Laboratory School and College in Singra Upazila of the district on Thursday to promote students' knowledge and skills in science and technology.
The event, organised by the institution, showcased various innovative projects and scientific models created by students.
Natore Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Asma Shahin attended the fair as the chief guest.
She visited different stalls, interacted with participants, and delivered an inspirational speech encouraging students to nurture creativity and scientific curiosity.
The discussion meeting was presided over by Singra Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mazharul Islam. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Jannat Ara Ferdous and the institution's Principal Ujjal Hossain also spoke as special guests.
The fair drew enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local education enthusiasts, highlighting the growing interest in science education in the region.
