Ex-DU student dies during treatment

A former student of Dhaka University (DU) has died whilst receiving medical care at UniHealth Specialised Hospital in the capital. 

The deceased is identified as Nur Hossain, a student from the Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology’s (ILET) 2012-13 session and was a member of the institute's 31st batch.

According to information available, Nur Hossain had been undergoing treatment at a specialised hospital before his demise. Details regarding his illness or specific medical condition leading to death have not been disclosed yet.

University community has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely loss of their former colleague. Nur's death has left fellow students and faculty members mourning loss of a young life.

DUCSU General Secretary (GS) S M Farhad confirmed this tragic news through a Facebook post on his personal account.
