Youth commits suicide in Moulvibazar

A youth committed suicide at Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Soykot Debnath, 25, son of Nironjon Debnath, a resident of Kakichar village under Kadipur union in the upazila.

According to police, Soykot committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan.

Later, being informed, police rescued his body and sent it to Moulvibazar General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Kulaura Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Bikash confirmed the incident.
