Jagannath University (JnU) will remain closed for 10 days on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja, Bijoya Dashami, Fateha-i-Yazdaham, Prabarana Purnima, and Lakshmi Puja.
During this period, all examinations scheduled between September 28 and October 9 have been postponed.
The announcement came through a notice issued on Sunday (September 28), signed by the university's acting registrar, Professor Dr. Md. Sheikh Gias Uddin.
According to the notice, while examinations will remain suspended until October 9, regular classes are set to resume from October 7.
The decision was taken in line with directives from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education.
