Chatmohar Municipality unveils budget after a decade

CHATMOHAR, PABNA, Sept 18: Chatmohar Municipality in Pabna presented its budget on Thursday after a ten-year hiatus.

The municipality's administrator and Chatmohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Musa Naser Chowdhury presented the proposed budget of Tk 18,87,48,844 for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

Members of the municipal council, including Manjurul Alam Md Enamul Kabir, Md Sohel Rana, Md Abdul Mabud and Md Abdul Gani were in attendance, along with other municipal officials and employees.

The report notes that projects were implemented without an official budget for the last nine years during the tenure of the previous Awami government.
