CUET hosts 140th syndicate meeting

The 140th Syndicate Meeting of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) was held on Saturday at the university's Syndicate Room.

The meeting was chaired by CUET Syndicate Chairman and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan.

Among others, CUET's Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Prof. Dr. Md. Rashidul Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain, Director of the Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science, Prof. Dr. Asiful Haque, Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Prof. Dr. Md. Mashiul Haque, Prof. of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Dr. Md. Zahidur Rahman, Prof. of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, Chittagong University, Dr. Md. Sekandar Chowdhury, retired Director General (TSC) and DMD (BTBL) Engineer Khan Ataur Rahman, Chairman of Chittagong Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Prof. Ilias Uddin Ahmed, Prof. of Mathematics Department of CUET Dr. Sunil Dhar and Prof. of Humanities Department of CUET Dr. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal.

Other notable attendees were also present online: Md Mahbubul Haque Patwari, Additional Secretary (University) of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education; Prof. of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET); Dr Md Aynal Haque; and Director of DBL Group Engineer Major (Retd) Md Firoz Khannun Farazi.

CUET Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) Prof. Dr Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir was present as the member secretary in the syndicate meeting.
