Arijit Singh’s recent concert in London took an unexpected turn when authorities at the venue cut off power mid-performance due to a curfew violation. The singer was delivering an emotional rendition of Saiyaara — originally sung by Faheem Abdullah — when the incident occurred, leaving fans surprised and disappointed.

Videos shared widely on social media captured the moving moment as Arijit sang while the audience joined in. However, once the event crossed the 10:30 PM curfew, venue staff reportedly pulled the plug, stopping the show before Arijit could finish the song or address his fans.

An Instagram post by @thewhatup highlighted the incident, noting, “London stadium allegedly cut power at Arijit Singh's show without letting him say goodbye or finish the song due to curfew time of 10:30 PM.”

The abrupt ending drew mixed reactions online. While many fans criticized the venue for the sudden interruption, others defended the action, pointing to the UK’s strict adherence to noise and timing regulations.

This incident follows a string of major milestones for the singer. In July, Arijit became the most-followed artist on Spotify, overtaking Taylor Swift. A month earlier, he collaborated with Ed Sheeran on Sapphire, a global hit that also featured a cameo by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
