‘Environ conducive for 13th JS polls’

Election Commissioner (EC) Md Anwarul Islam Sarkar has said that the environment for holding the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election is "100 percent favorable."

He made the remark on Sunday while speaking to journalists at the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon, Dhaka.
In response to a question, the Election Commissioner said, "So far, the voting environment is entirely favorable. No adverse situation has come to the Commission's attention that could stand in the way of the election."

When asked if there is any uncertainty about the election, Anwarul Islam Sarkar replied, "The Commission does not think so." On the question of whether the election will be held on time, he said, "We have already published the roadmap. The roadmap itself speaks for us." However, regarding a specific election date, he clarified that it cannot be disclosed before the official announcement of the schedule.
