Scientists create next-gen 3D-printed robots that run without electronics

Researchers at the University of San Diego, California, have developed a next-gen 3D-printed robot powered by compressed gas.

 

In research published in late January, the cost-effective bots make use of off-the-shelf printing materials and are electronics-free, making them highly durable and useful in extreme environments where electronics would typically fail.
