The Bangladesh Wushu Federation celebrated the 8th World Wushu-Kungfu Day 2025 on Saturday at the National Stadium premises in Dhaka, joining the global martial arts community in marking the occasion.
This year's celebration was held under the theme "Celebrate Taiji Together". The day began with a vibrant rally involving 130 athletes, which set off from Gate No. 3 of the National Stadium, made a circuit of the stadium premises, and concluded at the starting point.
Leading the rally were the Federation's Vice-President, Lt. Col. Abu Ayub Mohammad Hasan, psc (Retd.); Founder General Secretary, Shifu Dildar Hasan Dilu; Chairman of the Technical Committee, S.M. Shahidul Haque Bhuiyan; Treasurer, Habibur Rahman Siddiqui (Rubel); and Executive Member, Mohammad Saiful Alam Roman.
Following the rally, participants gathered at the Federation office where breakfast was served.
In line with the Federation's directives, clubs and affiliated organisations across the country's districts and divisions also arranged rallies and related activities to observe Wushu-Kungfu Day in their respective areas.
