Man killed in Jhenaidah train mishap

One individual was killed after being hit by a train at Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah district on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Mohsin Rahman, 46, son of late Nannu Monsi of Dhakale para under Kaliganj town in the upazila. Mohsin was a businessman by profession.
According to locals, Mohsin came to visit his in-laws in Barobazar. He was hit by a fast-moving train named “Sundarban Express” and was dismembered instantly while walking through the railway line and was talking via phone.

Later, his family recovered his body from the spot about an hour after the incident.

Barobazar Railway Station Master Mobasher Hossain confirmed the incident and said that Jessore railway police will handle the incident.
