Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, the Economic Adviser and the Adviser (in charge) of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was present in the event as Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest said that Bangladesh Krishi Bank had been implementing government polices by disbursing low interest loan under the cost of funds most of sectors and playing an important role in achieving food self-sufficiency for the country.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Dr. Mohammad Zahid Hossain presided over the event. The Secretary of Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance Nazma Mobarek was present as Special Guest. She said in her speech that Bangladesh Krishi Bank had been playing significant role by developing agriculture sector and implementing government polices with 1038 branches.
The Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Sanchia Binte Ali, Directors of the Board Dr. M. Sayedur Rahman and Maksuma Akter Banu, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdur Rahim and Mohd. Khaleduzzaman, all General Managers and concern Deputy General Managers of the Head Office, President and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA), along with officers and staffs were present on the occasion.
