Billal had paid an advance of Tk 4 lakh 60 thousand taka and had taken possession of a portion of the land. After the brothers returned from India to collect the remaining payment, Billal conspired to kill them to avoid paying the rest of the money.
On December 31, 2020, the accused took sign in the land paper from the victim but did not pay them.
On April 7, 2021, the accused murdered the brothers, burned their bodies and disposed of their heads in a toilet tank at Aslampur union in the upazila.
The severed heads were later found by police and DNA testing confirmed the identities of the victims. Later, the victim’s brother Nipen Chandra Sarkar filed a case against those individuals.
