Newspapers to observe holiday on Aug 5

The Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) has declared Tuesday (August 5) a holiday for newspaper offices marking 'July Mass Uprising Day.'

As a result, no newspapers will be published on that day, according to a holiday notice issued on Monday, signed by NOAB President AK Azad.

The decision was made by NOAB's Executive Committee, the notice added.
