MIRZAGANJ, PATUAKHALI, July 21: The monthly meeting on the law and order situation was held in Mirzaganj Upazila of the district on Monday.
The meeting was held in the hallroom of the newly constructed expanded building of the Upazila Parishad in the morning with Upazila Law and Order Committee President and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Tariqul Islam.
Mirzaganj Upazila BNP Vice-President Md Golam Faruk Munshi, its General Secretary (GS) (Acting) Md Harun Or Rashid Munshi, Mirzaganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Khan Nurul Islam, Resident Medical Officer of the Upazila Health Complex Dr Shamsul Islam Sohel, Mirzaganj Press Club President Md Kamruzzaman Jewel, its GS Mallik Maqsud Ahmed Bayezid, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Md Sirajul Haque, and GS of Upazila Islami Andolan Bangladesh Md Wadud Goldar, among others, also spoke on the occasion.
Representatives of the Bangladesh Army in Mirzaganj Camp, heads of various educational institutions, officials of government departments, and journalists from print and electronic media were also present there.
