Bangladesh gets $1.42b remittance in 16 days of July

Bangladesh received approximately US$1.42 billion in remittances during the first 16 days of July in the current 2025–26 fiscal year, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank on Thursday.

The figure represents an average daily remittance inflow of around $88.21 million from Bangladeshi expatriates during the period.

Compared to the same period last year, when the remittance inflow stood at $1.32 billion, this year's figure shows a noticeable increase, indicating continued strong support from the country's overseas workforce.
