Malaysia Education Fair 2025 kicks off in Bangladesh

Malaysia Education Fair 2025 is set to commence in Bangladesh, offering students and parents an unparalleled opportunity to explore diverse educational pathways in Malaysia.

Organised by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) in collaboration with local partner Knowledge Hub Bangladesh, the fair aims to strengthen academic ties and promote Malaysia as a leading study destination.

The series of events will be held across three major cities: Dhaka on July 18 & 19 at Hotel Sarina, Khulna on July 21 at Hotel Castle Salam and Chittagong on July 24 at The Peninsula Chittagong.

The fair will provide direct access to representatives from top Malaysian public and private universities, offering affordable and globally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields, including engineering, medicine, business and IT.

A press conference was held on Tuesday at Gulshan Club, attended by the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, EMGS officials and Knowledge Hub Bangladesh representatives, to announce the fair details. The High Commissioner will formally inaugurate the Dhaka fair on July 18 at Hotel Sarina.

Participating institutions include Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), UCSI University and many more.

Preceding the fair, an event on July 17 at UGC Bhaban will foster discussions between Malaysian and Bangladeshi universities, with senior officials from Bangladesh's University Grants Commission (UGC) also in attendance. UGC plans to sponsor teaching staff to top Malaysian research universities to enhance Bangladesh's education sector.
