Youth killed in Cox’s Bazar train crash

A youth died after being hit by a train at Ramu upazila in Cox’s Bazar district on Morning afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Tipu Mia, 29, son of Chan Mia from Brazerkandi area under Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi district.

According to Cox’s Bazar railway station master Golam Rabbani, a Dhaka left train named “Parjatan Express” hit Tipu near Chailatali Baraipara area at 3:30 PM while crossing Dakshin Mithachora.

Ramu Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Farid confirmed the incident and said that legal action is underway in connection with the matter.
