Man beaten to death in Dinajpur

One individual was beaten to death in suspicion of theft at Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur district on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Bablu Hossain, 32, son of Abdul Khalek of Dakshin Bashudebpur area under the upazila.
According to locals, Bablu was beaten to death by some of the people, including Rabbi Hasan and his friends from the area.

Later, police recovered Bablu’s body after being informed. Police also arrested two individuals in connection with the murder.

Hakimpur Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Nazmul Haque confirmed the incident and said that efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
