Tourist community policing meet held at Kamalganj

KAMALGANJ, MOULVIBAZAR, July 11: A tourist community policing meeting was held near the main gate of Lawachara National Park in Kamalganj Upazila of the district on Thursday afternoon.

Tourist Police in Sreemangal organized the meeting.

Officer-in-Charge of Kamalganj-Sreemangal Tourist Police Kamrul Islam, Lawachara National Park Ticket Counter Master Ajanya Ahmed Kamran and Journalist Salahuddin Shuvo, among others, were present at the programme.

In their speech, the speakers said that such meetings are very important to strengthen the security of tourist places and facilitate tourists. 

Such meetings increase mutual cooperation between the local people and the tourist police, which is helpful in further developing the tourism industry.
