Ex-Jubo Dal leader shot dead in Khulna

An expelled Jubo Dal leader was reportedly shot to death by miscreants in Khulna city on Friday.
 
The murder took place around 2 pm in front of his house at Daulatpur in the city.

The dead was Mahbubur Rahman Molla.

BNP's Daulatpur unit general secretary Imam Hossain confirmed the matter.

Daulatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Atahar Ali said that Mahbubur Rahman Molla was cleaning his private car in front of his house at noon. At that time, three men wearing helmets came on a motorcycle and started shooting at him. Later, to ensure his death, the miscreants cut the veins in both his legs.

He also said that four empty bullet shells were recovered from the scene. Senior police officials visited the spot.
