Youth held with Yaba pills in Jhalakathi

A youth was arrested with Yaba pills at Nalchity upazila in Jhalakathi district on Monday night.

The arrested is Rahat Hawlader, 23, a resident of Nandikathi village under the upazila.

According to police, acting on a tip-off, a team led by Nalchity Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Korun Biswas conducted a raid on TNT road at 8 PM and arrested him.

Police also seized 115 pieces of Yaba pills from his possessions.

Nalchity Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Abdus Salam confirmed the incident.
