Jubo Dal activist gunned down in Ctg in broad daylight

A Jubo Dal activists was shot to death in Chittagong's Rauzan upazila on Sunday afternoon.

Deceased Md Salim, 42, was the follower of BNP vice chairman and former lawmaker Gius Uddin Quader Chowdhury.

Eyewitnesses said that Salim was returning home with family at 12noon. Suddenly, two persons, wearing borkhas, riding on a CNG-run autorickshaw, waylaid them and shot on Salim's head.

Residents of the area rescued him and rushed him to Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctors declared Salim dead.
